Aya was born in Israel and spent her childhood surrounded by a family of artists. Ayas designs reflect the natural beauty of her homeland and are inspired by the shapes, textures, and colors of the Mediterranean Sea, its beautiful coral reef and sparkling sand.
In the early 80's, Aya and her husband Ofer came to the United States from Israel and built a jewelry manufacturing company that grew to become one of the largest fine jewelry companies in the U.S. with vast distribution in the international market. Since 2005, when the Aya Azrielant Collection was spun off as a standalone company, it has been offered for sale through a very limited number of retailers throughout the world and is worn by many prominent women.
