AYA INTERNATIONAL APPOINTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT TO LEAD EXPANSIONNEW YORK, NY- Industry veteran, Mark Schatten, has been named to the newly created position of Vice President, Sales and Marketing for jewelry firm Aya International.
In his new role, Schatten will be responsible for all sales, marketing and business development for the company. Schatten, the former Director for Versace, Precious Items Division, where he was responsible for all sales, marketing and distribution for the North American market brings over 24 years of industry experience. In addition to Versace, Schatten has held sales and management positions at Swatch Group, Richemont and Citizen Watch Company of America.
Aya International is led by internationally renowned jewelry designer Aya Azrielant. The collection features both an exclusive couture line of 18K Gold and Diamond jewelry and a new fashion forward Sterling Silver and Gemstone collection which is being introduced this fall. Azrielant is the co-founder of world leading jewelry manufacturer Andin International. The Aya Azrielant venture was spun off from Andin and is now a stand alone company.
Due to her success within the jewelry industry, Azrielant has been recognized as one of the top female entrepreneurs in the world. Her line caters to the fashion forward woman that desires high quality and artistic standards at moderate price points. Her collections have received many industry awards.
